JULY QUILT FESTIVAL LONG BEACH CA Gwen Jeffares and Rebecca Stuart are now back from the Show, having had a really lovely time on that gorgeous weather with all you happy smiling CaliGirls - Bless your cotton socks! (Not that you need to wear any in that heat!!!) Thanks to all the repeat customers who visited our booth, with tales and visual offerings, and food/candy bars/coffee...we'll take anything! We enjoyed the Make-It -University experience teaching our miniclass "LIVING POSTCARDS" formed from miniature plaster/Extender tableaux and painting and collaging the textured surface...everyone produced really lovely little samples, all very diverse and unique which always thrills my heart when individual flavour is expressed - well done ladies! Please send me photos of your postcard so I can upload them to the site please? I hope all the attendees had a good time - piccys of our class samples WILL be posted soon....promise!!!! after the last of the building renovations are done...
